Accounts & Administration Officer – Accounts Receivable & Office Support (Up to ₱40K | Work-from-Home | FREE AI Certification)

You own the accounts receivable engine for an Australian professional services firm — chasing debtors, issuing invoices and statements, reconciling payments, and producing the AR reports the finance team and senior leadership rely on. Your work follows established collection cadences, reporting standards, and reconciliation cycles aligned with client expectations.


This is not a junior assistant role. You operate within defined scopes, report directly into senior leadership, and are trusted to take work from instruction to completion without repeated clarification. Best suited for professionals who thrive on accuracy with numbers, value autonomy over hand-holding, and prefer to own outcomes from end to end.


You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

  • 3+ years of hands-on accounts receivable or accounts administration experience in a professional services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to chase debtors via email and phone using an agreed escalation cadence
  • Strong reconciliation skills — payments, statements, and aged receivables tracking
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and confidence learning new systems quickly
  • Willingness to work 7:00 AM–4:00 PM PH Time aligned with Australian business hours from a stable home-office setup

  • Accounting qualification or formal accounting background
  • Prior experience in a professional services firm — legal, accounting, consulting, or similar
  • Familiarity with practice or matter management software (e.g., Actionstep, HubSpot, or comparable platforms)
  • Experience reporting directly to senior staff or partners
  • Comfort using AI tools to streamline reconciliation, reporting, and routine admin


Responsibility Pillars

Accounts Receivable Ownership

You own the AR cycle end-to-end — from invoice issuance through debtor follow-up to reconciliation.

  • Chase outstanding debtors via email and phone, following an agreed escalation cadence
  • Generate and issue invoices, statements, and reminders
  • Maintain accurate debtor records and aged receivables tracking
  • Reconcile payments and flag discrepancies promptly

Finance Reporting & Month-End Support

You produce the AR reports senior leadership uses to make decisions and keep finance routines running on time.

  • Prepare and issue regular AR reports for the finance team and senior leadership
  • Support month-end finance processes as directed
  • Highlight collection risks and trends in your reporting
  • Maintain documentation that supports audit and compliance reviews

General & Professional Administration

You provide the steady administrative backbone the firm relies on day to day.

  • Open files, enter data, and set up matters in the practice management system
  • Prepare and format documents and basic correspondence
  • Provide inbox, calendar, and task support as required
  • Take on general administrative tasks supporting the wider team
