The Accounting Assistant is responsible for proper and timely collection of all accounts and funds due to the company and maintenance of related records to meet internal and external requirements. He/She ensures that billings are correct, assets related to sales are properly accounted for, and sales transactions are processed on time and are properly documented and recorded.
Qualifications
Graduate of Accountancy or Finance Management, or a related course
Experience in billing and collection is an advantage
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficient in MS Excel
Able to independently investigate and resolve issues
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Good communication and negotiation skills
A team player who can work well with minimal supervision
Available for full-time employment and can start immediately
