Control System Inspector required on contract bases for 12 months
Requirements
B.E in Instrument/Electrical/Electronics and certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in control system inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
Strong knowledge of DCS architecture (ABB / Emerson / Honeywell etc.), PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley), SCADA systems.
Understanding of ESD / SIS systems, Logic diagrams, cause & effect, Interlocks and shutdown logic, FAT/SAT procedures. Basic knowledge of IEC 61511 / functional safety principles.
Witness and verify FAT and SAT of control systems.
Ensure correct integration between field instruments and control systems.
Validate control loops and system functionality as per design.
Witness ESD system functional testing.
Verify cause & effect matrix implementation.
Check trip signals, interlocks, and shutdown sequences.
Ensure system response complies with safety philosophy and project requirements.
