  • Lead and mentor a team of Digital Design Associates, fostering a culture of collaboration, empathy, and continuous learning, including managing team capacity, bandwidth, and resource assignment to ensure optimal project allocation and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the end-to-end UI/UX design process for digital products, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience, while also considering bandwidth limitations and resource availability for successful implementation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, product owners, developers, and senior leadership to translate user insights and business goals into impactful design solutions, effectively managing design resource allocation across projects.
  • Guide and support the team in applying project management principles to effectively plan, execute, and deliver design projects on time, incorporating considerations for team capacity and resource allocation.
  • Champion human-centered design principles and advocate for a consistent and seamless user experience across all digital touchpoints, factoring in the bandwidth required for user research and testing.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of a robust design system, ensuring consistency and scalability, while allocating sufficient resources for its ongoing evolution.
  • Develop and present strategic design concepts, rationales, and research findings to key stakeholders, ensuring that the necessary resources are assigned to these initiatives.

Strategic UX Leadership

  • User Research & Analysis: Design and oversee comprehensive user research plans, including interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, ensuring efficient allocation of research resources and bandwidth. Ensure research findings are effectively translated into strategic design decisions.
  • UX/UI Design & Prototyping: Guide the team in creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes, while managing the team's capacity and bandwidth for design execution. Ensure all design solutions are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with overall business and brand objectives.
  • Design System Management: Lead the development, maintenance, and evolution of the design system, including component libraries and style guides, ensuring consistency across all digital products and dedicating appropriate resources for its continuous improvement.

Team Development & Collaboration

  • Team Leadership: Provide constructive feedback, mentor Digital Design Associates, and foster a collaborative and empathetic team environment, actively managing team capacity, bandwidth, and resource assignment for optimal performance and project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to gain buy-in on design concepts and strategy, considering the resources and bandwidth required for effective collaboration.
  • Design Thinking & Advocacy: Lead the team in applying and promoting Design Thinking methodologies to drive product innovation and a user-centered culture, ensuring that the necessary resources are available for these initiatives.
