Barco Healthcare is seeking a hands‑on Test Engineer to join its R&D team and support the development and industrialisation of next‑generation surgical products. You will work in an international, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse design inputs, project specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Define and execute test plans in collaboration with NPI project managers
- Perform verification and validation testing across different development stages
- Conduct environmental (climatic, vibration), EMC, and electrical safety testing
- Coordinate testing activities with external laboratories and notified bodies
- Perform gap and conformity analysis against applicable international standards
- Support industrialisation activities, including zero‑series and pre‑series builds
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, documentation, and tools
- Collaborate effectively with local teams and Barco headquarters
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent experience
- Hands‑on experience in a laboratory or test environment
- Exposure to testing, validation, or certification activities
- Ability to work independently, organise work, and take initiative
- Strong communication skills with a structured and analytical mindset
- Fluent in Italian and English
