The School of Information at RIT invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer position, beginning August 2024. The successful candidate will be able to teach a broad range of courses in data science and data management.
In particular, we seek candidates who can demonstrate knowledge and experience in three or more of the following areas:
- Structured data storage, retrieval, and analysis
- Unstructured data storage, retrieval, and analysis
- Database management and administration
- Data warehousing
- Data analytics and machine learning, including supervised learning (e.g., classification and regression), unsupervised learning (e.g., clustering and feature extraction), association analysis, anomaly detection, and statistical testing
- Information retrieval, text mining, and natural language processing
