Job Summary: Acts as a Document Controller and administrative assistant for shipping and logistics. This role focuses on the "paper trail" for international imports and local cargo movement.
Key Responsibilities
Document Control: Organize and file Bills of Lading, Invoices, and Packing Lists.
Encoding: Assist with the data entry for Job Orders (JO) and e-Liquidation reports (TFCD/SBMA).
Digital Filing: Maintain and organize all shipping documents (BL, Invoices, Permits) within the company's Google Drive folders.
Payment & Permits: Prepare payment requests for overseas freights, port and brokerage charges and process paperwork for local transshipment permits.
ERP Encoding: Accurately encode shipment details, Approved Payment Request, QN, PO, Freight Bill references, and brokerage expenses into the ERP system.
Logistics Support: Support with communicating with brokers and tracking deliveries from the port to the site.
Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or college-level; a degree is a plus but not required.
Technical Skills: Comfortable using Google Workspace (Sheets and Drive) for daily reporting and file management.
Attributes: Excellent attention to detail-must be able to catch errors in documents and maintain accurate digital records.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in encoding and data entry.
