Role Description & Responsibilities

As part of our Software Quality Engineering team, you will be involved in challenging and exciting projects, supporting the team in the creation of outstanding enterprise solutions used by our customers. - Identify impacted Modules / features. Develop test plans, test cases & test scenarios.
- Identifying the test cases for Automation. Plan, develop, execute & maintain the Automated frame works.
- Resolve technical issues through Debugging, Research and Investigation, Creating new & innovative ways to improve applications.
- Mentor and guide fellow junior Engineers, help in hiring and building the team.
- Work closely with stake holders on real time production issues.
- Work closely with a geographically distributed team.
The Challenges ahead
- Be self-motivated and eager to engage in high impact, challenging engineering problems while continuously raising the standard of quality in our products and services in a full solutions-oriented SaaS environment
- Able to troubleshoot and debug microservices using distributed systems tracing, NewRelic or SumoLogic and other APMs, & log aggregating and reporting tools.
- Capable of developing useful modules and shared libraries (modules, packages) to solve common problems across projects.
- Technical competency in using middleware for tracing/observability, authentication/security, and service request & response monitoring.
- Able to setup and execute automated functional, load/performance and UI tests
Qualifications
- BE/B.tech in Computer Sciences or a related discipline from premier institutions with good academic track records.
- Deep understanding of Computer Sciences & fundamentals. Extensive hands-on experience with the testing methodologies of complex software products through the SDLC & STLC.
- 10 to 14 Yrs of expert level knowledge in Manual Testing, Test Automation with Programming in Java / scripting Selenium, GEB, QTP etc.
- Experience with API, UI, Database Test automation & Performance testing
- Experience working with code repositories such as GitHub.
- Basic Knowledge of JIRA / SVN / GIT.
- Certified, ISTQB foundation level will be a Plus.
- Work with remote teams as a Scrum Master / Agile environment.
- Strong Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot applications & environment issues.
- Good Analytical skills & Business thinking and ability to learn faster.
- Experience/Exposure to LifeSciences/Pharma Domain is a Plus
