Ecommerce Manager (CRO) – Conversion Rate Optimization (₱90K–₱110K | Onsite | FREE AI Certification)

Cebu City | Onsite (IT Park, i1 Building) | 6:00 AM–3:00 PM PHT | Monday–Friday


You own the conversion engine of a high-AOV Shopify ecommerce operation, where your single number is turning existing traffic into more orders. This is a strategic conversion role focused on funnel optimisation, mobile checkout, BNPL placement, AOV expansion, and merchandising decisions that move revenue per session — not a high-velocity A/B testing role.


You operate within defined scopes, structured testing methodology, and clear reporting cycles aligned with a client-side Marketing lead based in Australia. Best suited for commercial operators who think in revenue, not vanity metrics, and who can point to conversion and AOV wins with real before/after numbers — not just years on the job.


You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

  • 3–5+ years hands-on in Shopify ecommerce with a dedicated CRO focus
  • Conversion wins you can point to with real before/after numbers (conversion rate lift, AOV growth, revenue impact)
  • Hands-on ability to ship changes yourself — comfortable working in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, not just briefing a developer
  • Fluency in GA4 and at least one heatmap or testing tool (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, VWO, Convert)
  • A disciplined, evidence-led testing method — comfortable making decisions even when sample sizes are too small for strict statistical significance
  • Willingness to work fully onsite in Cebu IT Park, day shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PHT), aligned with Australian business hours


Strong Signals

  • Experience optimising high-AOV or considered-purchase ecommerce (furniture, equipment, appliances, B2B, or anything $500+ AOV)
  • Shopify Plus experience and familiarity with bundle / configurator apps
  • Klaviyo familiarity for post-purchase lifecycle, abandonment recovery, and browse-recovery flows
  • Active AI workflow (Claude, ChatGPT) for execution, planning, or QA
  • Background in fitness, sports, or premium consumer products


Responsibility Pillars

Conversion Rate & Revenue per Session

You own the single number this role is hired to move — turning existing traffic into more revenue.

  • Drive site-wide conversion rate and revenue-per-session growth
  • Diagnose conversion leaks across product pages, cart, checkout, and abandonment paths
  • Translate insights into shipped changes, not slide decks


Mobile Journey & Checkout

You own the biggest opportunity zone — mobile conversion that currently sits well below desktop.

  • Rebuild product detail pages and checkout flows for mobile-first conversion
  • Optimise checkout completion across payment, financing, and trust touchpoints
  • Reduce abandonment through copy, layout, and flow improvements


AOV Expansion & Merchandising

You own the basket — bundles, accessories, and financing strategy that grow average order value.

  • Build attachment, bundle, and upsell logic across the funnel
  • Optimise BNPL placements (Afterpay, Zip) and monthly-payment framing on high-ticket carts
  • Drive on-site merchandising decisions that lift AOV without hurting conversion


Testing Program & Site Health

You run the test-and-learn engine with discipline and evidence-led decision-making.

  • Design and execute structured A/B tests: hypothesis → test → measure → ship → repeat
  • Monitor site speed, technical health, and analytics in GA4
  • Document test results, learnings, and conversion impact for continuous compounding
