As a Category Manager / Senior Manager, you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies that optimize spend, strengthen strategic supplier partnerships, and deliver sustainable supply solutions aligned with the company's long-term goals.

With dedicated teams managing tactical sourcing, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), purchase fulfillment, and procurement systems, you'll have the opportunity to focus on high-impact strategic work that directly contributes to business growth and operational excellence. Whether you bring broad procurement expertise or deep category specialization, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping sourcing strategies across categories such as outsourced transportation, land- and marine-based equipment, manpower and facility management, petroleum, IT professional services, and construction.
What You’ll Do..
Strategic Roadmap Development - Design comprehensive Category Plans that balance immediate, short-term actions with long-term vision to drive overarching business goals. Supplement strategic roadmaps with detailed Sourcing Calendars to effectively schedule, track, and execute procurement activities over targeted timelines.
Category Management – Analyze and propose category management initiatives for handled spend categories. Most often, this involves creating initiatives for high value spend, spanning full year or multi-year contracts. Identify, negotiate, establish, and maintain Preferred Vendors for recurring spend categories to optimize long-term commercial value and supply continuity.
Business Partnering - Engage business leaders to understand long-term requirements, challenge demand, align sourcing strategies, and influence sourcing and commercial decisions. Secure cross-functional buy-in for procurement initiatives through proactive stakeholder management, early engagement, and close alignment with business requirements.
Sourcing to Awarding – Execute Procurement sourcing activities for high value spend that falls within the scope of Strategic Procurement, covering Requirements Intake, RFx preparation, RFx execution, proposal evaluation, detailed negotiations (including contract negotiation) and awarding.
Endorsement to Procurement Operations and Stakeholders – Upon awarding vendors or concluding strategic initiatives, endorse awarded vendors and agreed ways of working / terms / conditions to both the Procurement Operations group and the relevant stakeholders who can then support in operational execution of the strategy. Procurement Operations shall support in PO creation, delivery monitoring and any related issue resolution. Stakeholders shall manage the non-commercial aspects of the initiative. This job role, however, remains accountable to ensure that agreed commercial terms and conditions are followed by internal and external stakeholders until the end of any agreed undertaking.
Contracting: Collaborate with Business Units (BUs) to prepare preliminary contract drafts prior to initiating bidding activities. Evaluate and negotiate any commercial terms and conditions in contracts. Support end-users and internal stakeholders during negotiations regarding non-commercial terms as required, and support as needed to ensure contracts are closed until final signatures. It is expected that Strategic Procurement will manage full year and multi-year types of contracts.
Insights Delivery – Provide in-scope supplier / commodity market intelligence and strategic recommendations as needed to various stakeholders to support business decisions.
Supplier Performance Evaluation – Identify Critical Suppliers requiring routine performance evaluations. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that performance evaluations and corresponding post-evaluation actions are performed. Support strategic vendors in ensuring improvements in performance.
Spend Leadership – The role is primarily an individual contributor role. But as a subject matter expert on your assigned spend categories, you will be expected to support the Procurement team’s over-all capabilities and awareness on how to manage spend under your scope.
Compliance - Ensure all performed procurement activities adhere to 2GO’s internal policies.

Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP) or post-graduate studies (MBA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Professional Experience
- Experience: 5+ years of strategic procurement experience, including a minimum of 3 years focus on category management and procurement business partnering. We welcome applications from both broad procurement generalists and deep category experts. Equivalent backgrounds demonstrating a strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects and driving change management will also be considered.
- Technical Skills
Data Analytics: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency for data manipulation and strategic spend analysis.
Stakeholder Presentation: Strong MS PowerPoint skills (or similar tools) to build compelling decks for senior stakeholder management.
Procurement Systems: Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP , Oracle) or e-Sourcing platforms is highly advantageous but not required.
Soft Skills
Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align procurement strategies with broader corporate goals.
Stakeholder Management & Influence: High communication and presentation skills, with the capability to influence challenging stakeholders.
