Summary: This newly created role will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties including A/P, A/R, month-end close processes, and various financial management reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily ACH and credit card deposits
- Daily electronic payments
- Daily COD payment reminders, emails and phone calls
- New customer credit application processing and collection of supporting documentation
- New vendor processing and collection of supporting documentation
- Collections on past due customer accounts, emails and phone calls.
- Weekly creation of Exec/Sales scorecards
- Month-end sales reporting
- Innovative month end journal entry preparation and upload
- Innovative month end credit card processing
- Innovative monthly account reconciliations
- Innovative monthly use tax calculation
- Innovative monthly customer statements
- Incur payroll entries
- Incur month end journal entry preparation
- Incur monthly account reconciliations
- Incur monthly financial preparation
- Year End schedules for tax returns
- Maintain a paperless filing system for all activities within the scope of this position
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisors or Management

Requirements
- Associates Degree or higher in accounting or business
- 5-7 years of accounting experience
- High attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet monthly deadlines
- Experience working in an ERP software environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Dependable and reliable, and able to work flexible hours and overtime.
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal skills and dealing with internal and external customers
- Good organizational skills, keeping work area clean and well organized
