About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and community-focused Community Relations Assistants to support stakeholder engagement, land acquisition activities, and community development initiatives for our energy sector projects. The ideal candidate will help build positive relationships with local communities, government agencies, landowners, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation and social acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of community relations and stakeholder engagement programs.
Support land acquisition activities, including coordination with landowners, community leaders, and government offices.
Conduct field visits and maintain regular communication with project-affected communities.
Coordinate community consultations, public meetings, and information sessions.
Prepare documentation related to land acquisition, stakeholder concerns, and community engagement activities.
Maintain accurate stakeholder databases and project records.
Assist in resolving community concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor community sentiment and provide regular reports to management.
Support permitting, regulatory compliance, and right-of-way activities as required.
Collaborate with internal project teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, Environmental Management, or related fields.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, land acquisition, right-of-way management, or project development.
Experience in the energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, mining, or construction sectors is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to engage effectively with local communities, government units, and landowners.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
Willing to travel and conduct frequent fieldwork.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of land acquisition processes and regulatory requirements.
Understanding of social impact assessments and community development programs.
Experience working with local government units (LGUs), indigenous communities, or rural stakeholders.
Ability to handle sensitive discussions and conflict-resolution situations professionally.
