Overview
The Software Engineer III is a key individual contributor responsible for building, scaling, and supporting Python ‑ based backend services within the Integrated Front Office. This role owns features end ‑ to ‑ end and contributes to system design, with a strong focus on building reliable, scalable, and context ‑ aware workflows that integrate across distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python
- Own features from development through deployment and support
- Contribute to the design and implementation of context ‑ aware workflows and system integrations
- Participate in technical design discussions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Write clean, well ‑ tested , and maintainable code following engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with QA, Product, and other Engineering teams
- Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend service development
- Experience building APIs and scalable backend systems
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and service ‑ oriented architectures
- Experience with Docker and cloud ‑ based environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
- Understanding of context propagation, event ‑ driven systems, or MCP ‑ style workflows (preferred)
- Strong problem ‑ solving skills and ability to work cross ‑ functionally
