Assist shipping and receiving of ordered item.
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders and packing for delivery.
Assigned as back-up driver in case no available for delivery.
Overall responsible for daily inspection and audit to the entire warehouse process.
Monitors overall compliance of SOP and safety procedures across the warehouse
Performs general accounting tasks (reports and update system)
Negotiate with local suppliers concerning availability, pricing, freight and terms and conditions of items.
Establish and maintain local vendor relationships
Coordinate with departments to provide optimum cross-functional planning and execution of purchasing functions
Develop and maintain records, spreadsheets, supporting documentation and files regarding supplier activities and profiles and inventory products.
Identify, develop and support cost-saving measures in terms of purchasing
Manage and resolve product supply issues within the supply chain
Manage documentation, data and pricing into company records
Execute any other duties as requested by the management
Qualifications
- Candidate must Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management or equivalent.
- 1-2 yrs previous warehouse and logistics experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
- Dependable and Reliable
- Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry, driving skills and computer skills is required
- Strong ability to develop positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
