About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our Technology team. This role sits across frontend and backend delivery, contributing to ongoing BAU platform support and feature development.
We're looking for someone who can work across the stack. We expect senior engineers to operate across layers: frontend, backend, and infrastructure making architectural decisions, reviewing AI-generated code and designs, and working collaboratively in fast delivery cycles. If you are comfortable owning technical outcomes across the stack and working with AI tooling as part of your everyday workflow, this is the right environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver full-stack features across ReactJS/NextJS frontend and Python/Django backend
- Review and validate AI-generated domain models, component designs, and architectural recommendations
- Make architectural trade-off decisions: patterns, AWS service selection, scalability approaches
- Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers: this role does not sit in one silo
- Contribute to code quality, Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) adherence, and production readiness across delivery cycles
- Support BAU platform stability and respond to operational issues with speed and precision
- Participate in requirements elaboration and technical scoping alongside product owners and QA
Required
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with a track record of delivering production-quality code
- Strong Python skills, Django or equivalent backend framework
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills: React, NextJS, NodeJS
- Experience making architectural decisions: design patterns, trade-off analysis, scalability approaches
- Ability to review and validate component models, domain designs, or technical specifications: not just write code
- Experience with AWS in a production context (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, or equivalent)
- Experience with CSS practices: Tailwind CSS, Sass, BEM, or equivalent
- Comfortable working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure; not siloed to one layer
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery with CI/CD pipelines
Advantageous
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar)
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or equivalent certification
- Microservices or event-driven architecture experience
- Experience with Docker, containerisation, or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with media publishing systems or high-volume content platforms
