Here Is What The Job Entails
In the role as our Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the backend systems that turn IoT data into valuable services for customers. While working with the latest software technologies you will take responsibility for ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
More specifically you will be:
- Driving our DevOps workflows by working with cloud-based Kubernetes environments and containerized solutions
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services
- Ensuring technical quality through thorough code reviews and by taking ownership of the final deliverables across the codebase.
In this role you get the opportunity to drive our platform forward through continuous experimentation and technical decision‑making, while scaling advanced IoT and cloud‑based solutions across a broad range of backend responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting team members with technical expertise.

You will join our IoT solutions team of 11 dedicated and humorous colleagues, all working together to develop and improve our services. As a collaborative mix of frontend, backend, and DevOps developers, we work closely through daily stand‑ups and an informal, agile workflow. Less About Us, More About You
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who brings solid technical experience and wants to support our development and improvement of IoT Solutions. You demonstrate strong backend competencies and thrive in a collaborative, agile environment, where you will work closely with teams across the organization.
In order to succeed, we imagine that you:
- Have 5 years of professional experience in a backend role or experience with C# and .Net (.Net Core), Cloud services and MongoDB and/or Postgres (herunder PL/pgSQL)
- Are accustomed to taking part in shaping larger‑scale solution designs
- Bring the technical experience and accountability needed to guide and support other team members in their daily work.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud, Unit Test frameworks, Git, Kafka, Python or LoRaWan/NBIoT/Wireless Mbus is considered a plus
As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English. Danish is considered an advantage.
