Software Development:
As a Junior Software Developer specializing in Anaplan model building, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing Anaplan models to support client's business planning, forecasting processes, and other finance processes. You will work closely with solution architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure that our solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Software Development:
- Design, build, and implement Anaplan models, including data integration based on business requirements and specifications. Ensure models are efficient, accurate, and meet user needs.
- Create and maintain build documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting resources.
- Conduct rigorous testing of Anaplan models to identify and resolve issues, and validate that models meet functional and performance criteria.
Client Engagement:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting issues, addressing queries, and executing tool maintenance.
Continuous Improvement:
- Anaplan training and acquire certification
- Dive into business processes
- Stay updated with platform enhancements and best practices. Suggest and implement improvements to optimize model performance and usability.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of software development experience OR a fresh grad with a software development thesis/personal project to present
- Knows Relational Database Management
- Knows MS Excel functionality (like lookup, Len, mod, offset, Sumif)
- Analytic problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach to challenges and root cause analysis capabilities.
