About The Role
The Officer Operations role is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of Bonds.ph, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves supporting trading settlement, transaction processing and reporting activities, as well as maintaining a high level of service quality by employing industry best practices for treasury back-office operations. The Operations Lead will work closely with various teams to streamline and design processes, mitigate risks, and contribute to the company’s mission of providing a seamless and accessible investment platform for Filipino customers.
General Responsibilities
- Handling the day-to-day activities of a high visibility, multi-function & multi-team department, including but not limited to checking, validation, and approval of payments/disbursements, fixed-income assets, and other financial market transactions, account balance movements, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Act as secondary checker alongside the assistant manager, making sure that output files are correct and that intended SLA's in terms of submission are met.
- Identifying, developing, and improving processes with a focus on enhancing efficiency and optimizing resources.
- Identifying and assessing risk, managing effective controls, and addressing results in internal and external audits.
- Processing of fixed-income trades, fx and cash end-end settlements.
- Other tasks as assigned or delegated by the department head and/or supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in Finance, bank, or treasury (cash, fixed income, equities, FX, etc.) settlement operations and systems is preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Google and Microsoft Office software and applications especially Excel and/or Sheets.
