Here’s the difference you’ll make
As a Cash Application Specialist, you’ll ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments by gathering remittance details, applying daily cash receipts, and creating any required short pays or deductions. You’ll maintain organized records to support audits and research, balance posted cash against bank activity each day and collaborate with the collections team to resolve payment exceptions. Through your precision and responsiveness, you’ll help keep our cash flow accurate and our customer accounts running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Cash Application
- Gather customer remittance information and post cash to the correct account by invoice
- Receive and apply cash from bank accounts, and incoming Wires/ACH from Treasury Dept. on a daily basis
- Create short pays and deductions on customer’s accounts as directed by customer’s remittance advice
- Daily balancing of cash posted versus cash receipts from the bank
Recordkeeping & Documentation
- Maintain cash receipts records and files for any required research and/or audit within Corporate Policy
- Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
Collaboration & Issue Resolution
- Respond and work with the collection’s team on customer-specific payments and exceptions

Educational Background
Bachelor’s Degree in any course, preferably business-related
Professional Experience
Two to three (2-3) years work experience in a similar role
