We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cash Applications Specialist to join our client's finance team. This is a role focused on the precise execution of the Accounts Receivable lifecycle in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate thrives in a consistent, routine-based environment and takes pride in "balancing the books" every day. Since you will be supporting US-based clients, a high level of proficiency in English and experience with North American banking standards (ACH, Wire, Check) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Payment Processing: Accurately post daily high-volume payments including ACH, domestic/international wires, and checks to customer accounts.
- Banking Coordination: Retrieve and analyze daily bank reports to ensure all incoming funds are identified and captured.
- Account Maintenance: Perform credit/debit offsets and clear small balances to keep customer ledgers clean and accurate.
- Unapplied Cash Management: Research and resolve unapplied cash payments by collaborating with internal teams or contacting clients directly.
- Payment Execution: Process customer credit card or portal payments as required.
- Reconciliation: Assist in month-end closing activities by ensuring all daily receipts are reconciled against the bank statement.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience in Accounts Receivable or Cash Applications.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Accounting Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Regional Expertise: Proven experience working remotely for US-based companies, with a solid understanding of US payment processing and time zones.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).

- Schedule: US Business Hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time)
