The Project Management and Change Management Head will lead and institutionalize both project and change management practices across MGen’s IT organization, ensuring the successful delivery and adoption of strategic technology initiatives aligned with business objectives. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Governance, this role is responsible for overseeing a team of IT Project Managers and Change Management practitioners, driving governance standards, enabling organizational readiness, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring initiatives are delivered and adopted effectively, on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT Project Managers and Change Management professionals, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and change-ready delivery culture
  • Establish and continuously improve PMO and Change Management frameworks, methodologies, tools, and governance standards across all IT initiatives
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery and adoption of IT programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals
  • Drive portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource management to optimize delivery efficiency, change adoption, and value realization
  • Develop and implement structured Change Management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, training, and user adoption initiatives
  • Monitor project and change performance through KPIs, dashboards, and reporting, and provide regular updates to senior leadership
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project and change-related risks, issues, and dependencies across the IT portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in both project execution and change enablement
  • Collaborate with business units, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, stakeholder alignment, and successful adoption of solutions
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including adoption of Agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery methodologies alongside modern Change Management practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project/program management and/or Change Management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience managing complex IT portfolios and leading PMO and/or Change Management functions in a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, hybrid frameworks) and Change Management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci)
  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities
  • Experience in the energy or utilities sector is an advantage
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Prosci, or equivalent certifications preferred
