About The Role
In this role, you will contribute to the development of a new framework for rendering images on a keyboard display for a globally recognized manufacturer of computer peripherals and software. You will work within a trusted engineering team that owns technical decisions end to end, delivering solutions that directly impact products used by millions of users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop cross-platform software solutions in modern C++, focusing on image rendering for hardware-related products
- Take ownership of feature implementation and technical decisions, ensuring performance, stability, and scalability of the solution
- Collaborate closely with engineers, QAs, and client representatives to align technical execution with product goals
- Develop and maintain platform-level functionality for Windows and macOS environments, including interaction with system APIs
- Participate in code reviews, peer reviews, and architectural discussions to maintain high engineering standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across different platforms and environments
- Contribute to quality assurance practices, improving reliability and overall product quality
- Support the implementation of new functionality, including development from scratch and enhancement of existing components
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in C++ development with 3+ years of commercial practice
- Proficiency in modern C++ standards, including C++14 and C++17
- Practical experience in software development for Windows and macOS platforms
- Solid understanding of software design principles, patterns, and architectural approaches
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex, low-level or system-related software
- Skills in working with hardware-related or platform-level software solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed teams
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English for daily communication with global stakeholders
