We’re looking for a Senior V&V Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and regulatory compliance.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the V&V Manager, you will lead and coordinate verification and validation activities across the product development lifecycle. You’ll bring technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a hands-on approach to testing, prototyping, and problem-solving in a highly collaborative R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the V&V Manager to define and deliver verification and validation strategies across the product lifecycle
- Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities across multiple disciplines, ensuring timely delivery and clear progress reporting
- Drive improvements in test efficiency, repeatability, and automation, including development of production test systems
- Conduct prototype testing to identify critical parameters, design sensitivities, and performance limits
- Develop and implement innovative test methodologies, providing data-driven insights to inform design decisions and reduce iteration cycles
- Lead root cause and failure analysis to resolve issues and strengthen product robustness
- Develop and execute V&V protocols and reports, maintaining clear traceability to system requirements
- Review requirements for completeness, clarity, and testability, and evaluate system performance, reliability, and compliance
- Lead system and integration testing, and coordinate with external test houses to support certification activities
What You’ll bring:
- You’re a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in complex, regulated environments and enjoys solving real-world problems through data and experimentation.
- 5-10 years in verification & validation, ideally within medical devices
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle
- Experience working within ISO 13485 or similar quality management systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
