Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to bridge the gap between our raw content assets and a polished social media presence. You will be responsible for turning existing media into on-brand visuals, managing our Instagram presence, and driving organic growth for our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce on-brand social media graphics and visuals using Canva.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms including Instagram.
  • Develop and execute organic growth strategies using hashtags, tagging, and audience engagement.
  • Repurpose existing video and photo content into varied formats for promotional and informational posts.
  • Monitor and respond to direct messages and comments to maintain active community engagement.
  • Create supplementary marketing materials such as flyers and newsletters as needed.
  • Collaborate directly with the owner to execute his content vision across multiple categories.
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence and brand voice across all platforms.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands with a strong portfolio of past work (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Solid understanding of organic social media strategies and platform algorithms.
  • Strong visual design skills with the ability to maintain brand consistency using Canva.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Bonus if you have a background or interest in fitness, health, and wellness.
  • It helps if you have experience managing social media for a gym or health studio.
