About the role

This is a hands-on, people-facing internship at the front line of a new product launch. You'll be the person who finds neighbourhood shop owners, reaches out to them, and gets them interested enough to book a short product demo. • Fluent in Mandarin (required) — you'll be speaking with shop owners directly in Mandarin.
• Conversational in a Chinese dialect — Hokkien, Teochew, or Cantonese — is a strong advantage and the biggest differentiator for this role.
• Comfortable making cold calls and striking up conversations with strangers; friendly, persistent, and not easily discouraged by a "no."
• Organised and reliable with follow-ups and record-keeping.
• Based in Malaysia and able to work remotely, with comfort making calls to Singapore merchants.
• Proficient enough in English for internal coordination.

• Prior sales, telesales, promoter, retail, or other customer-facing experience.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup — reliable internet and a quiet space for calls.
• Some familiarity with Singapore's neighbourhood retail scene (minimarts, provision shops) — helpful for building rapport on calls.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and evaluate potential finfluencers and financial ecosystem partners within the target market, assessing audience quality, content style, and brand alignment.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs and business partners, continuously exploring collaboration opportunities and affiliate referrals.
• Collaborate with the content team and KOLs to co-create content, ensuring accurate and effective communication of investment concepts, brand values, and product usage scenarios.
• Develop KOL collaboration plans aligned with acquisition targets, track campaign performance, and continuously optimize ROI.
• Handle partnership negotiations and contract execution, balancing mutual interests and driving successful collaborations.

• At least 2-5 years of experience in KOL/influencer collaboration, business development, or channel partnerships. Preferable with experience within fintech, financial services, or stockbroking firms.
• Preferable candidates with self stock trading or stock investment experience.
• Outgoing and socially driven personality, with the ability to build strong relationships with KOLs and business partners, as well as manage and attend both online and offline events.
• Familiarity with major content and social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu (RED).
• Experience in contract negotiation and commercial partnership management.
• Strong content judgment and understanding of content quality, audience engagement, and brand alignment.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate collaboration ROI and identify high-value partnerships.
• Experience working in an MNC environment will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Moomoo products and services will be an added advantage.

• Language proficiency in English, Malay is a must, while Chinese/Mandarin is advantageous.
• Passing an internal financial products e-learning assessment during the probation period is mandatory (training will be provided).

• Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets for Business Assurance and Certification services within the Southern Region of Malaysia.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across various industries, providing consultative solutions for certification, audit, training, and assurance services.
• Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market development activities.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and solution discussions to understand business needs and propose suitable SGS services.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers in accordance with company guidelines.
• Work closely with technical, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Support the implementation of national and regional sales initiatives to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities, and provide feedback to management on business opportunities and risks.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and customer records within the CRM system.
• Support key account development activities and contribute to customer retention and business expansion efforts.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior sales team members where required.
• Ensure compliance with SGS policies, procedures, Code of Integrity, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager or Senior Management.
