Inside Sales Representative

Growth is tough here, but good people
Pros: The compensation for an Inside Sales Representative is decent. You get solid benefits, and my team in the Phoenix, AZ office was really supportive. It's a big, stable corporate environment, which has its perks.
Cons: Career growth felt really stagnant for me. There's no clear path to move up, especially in the electronics distribution side. Promotions are super slow, and you often have to leave the company to get a real title bump.
Advice to Management: Leadership really needs to map out clearer career paths for employees. Show us how we can grow internally instead of having to look elsewhere for advancement in this competitive supply chain industry.

Okay stability, but tough for career growth
Pros: It's a stable company in the electronics distribution industry. For Supply Chain Analyst roles, you can learn a lot about the business process. The hybrid work arrangement in the Phoenix, AZ office was decent.
Cons: Career growth here is pretty slow for individual contributors. There aren't many clear paths to move up unless you're in sales. It often feels like a corporate environment with lots of bureaucracy.
Advice to Management: Focus on clear career paths for individual contributors, especially in core operational roles. Speed up internal promotion processes.

Okay flexibility, but room to improve
Pros: You get some decent WFH options, especially for a large electronics distribution company. The hybrid work schedule means I'm in the Phoenix, AZ office a few days a week, which is fine. It helps with work-life balance for operational roles.
Cons: The flexibility sometimes feels a bit inconsistent across different teams. Sometimes, managers are rigid about specific office days, even if your global supply chain tasks could be done remotely. It's not fully flexible, more like a set hybrid.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize WFH policies more, especially for roles that don't need constant onsite presence. Trust employees more with their schedules.
