Hybrid model helps, but workload can be heavy
Pros: The `hybrid work` option is a real lifesaver for `work-life balance` and makes it possible to manage personal appointments. Some teams and managers are truly good about respecting boundaries, so you don't feel pressured after hours. It's nice to have some `work flexibility` to balance things out.
Cons: The biggest challenge for a `Supply Chain Analyst` is the workload, especially during big product launches in the `manufacturing industry`. It often feels like you're always on, and disconnecting can be tough. There's definitely a crunch time culture that makes consistent `work-life balance` hard.
Advice to Management: Please look into better resource allocation, especially for critical `Supply Chain` roles during high-demand periods. We need more support to prevent burnout and ensure consistent `work-life balance` for everyone.

Solid People, Intense Work Culture
Pros: The team is genuinely smart and collaborative. As a Software Engineer, I've learned a ton from my peers on various tech projects. There's good WFH flexibility, which helps with personal stuff.
Cons: The 'go-go-go' vibe can be draining. It's common for software development roles to have long weeks, leading to burnout. Work-life balance here isn't a top priority for leadership, it seems.
Advice to Management: Focus more on sustainable workloads for employees in big tech. Recognise that pushing too hard hurts morale and retention. Prioritize genuine work-life balance initiatives.

Okay flexibility for a big corporate company
Pros: You do get some decent hybrid work options here, especially as a Process Engineer once you're trained. It's not full WFH, but coming into the Austin, TX office a few days a week is manageable for a manufacturing role.
Cons: The flexibility can be tricky if you're deep in a manufacturing project or dealing with urgent issues. Sometimes it feels like there's an expectation to be onsite more than the policy suggests. Remote options aren't always consistent across departments.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize remote work policies more clearly across different manufacturing and engineering teams. Be transparent about what 'hybrid' really means for specific roles.
