Decent Pay & Benefits for a Big Company
Pros: The health insurance plan is pretty good here, and the 401k match is decent enough. For a corporate role like Marketing Specialist in the consumer goods industry, the compensation package feels pretty standard. You get what you expect.
Cons: Salary growth can be slow sometimes, especially when you compare it to other companies. There aren't many unique perks beyond the basic benefits package, so it's not a place to get rich quick. Working hybrid from the Atlanta office, the pay structure is just average.
Advice to Management: Look into more competitive salary bands for experienced roles and add some more unique employee perks to attract top talent. It would really help with retention, especially for roles in the highly competitive consumer goods industry.

Culture Varies Wildly by Team Here
Pros: I've met some genuinely good people and for a Supply Chain Analyst, the work in the consumer goods industry is often interesting. The hybrid work setup in our Atlanta office is a big plus for work-life balance.
Cons: The overall company culture can feel really slow and bureaucratic. There's a lot of old-school thinking, which means new ideas sometimes struggle to gain traction in this corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Focus on breaking down departmental silos. Empower teams to innovate without so much red tape. A more modern leadership approach would really help improve morale.

Hybrid Model Has Potential, Needs More Flex
Pros: I liked having some WFH days. The hybrid model is good for some roles in the consumer goods industry. It's nice not to be stuck in the Atlanta office every single day.
Cons: The 'flexible' part often feels pretty fixed. As a Supply Chain Analyst, there are specific days you just have to be in the office, which defeats the purpose. Sometimes it feels like they don't trust employees with true remote work.
Advice to Management: Give managers more autonomy to decide on true flexibility. Mandating specific office days for hybrid roles doesn't really work for a modern corporate environment. Trust your employees more with WFH days.
