AppleOne Employment Services is a full-service employment company. Founded in 1964, we are now celebrating over five decades of the AppleOne Experience.

HELPING CAREER SEEKERS
AppleOne Employment Services is unique in that we view the career seeker as a client. Other employment agencies see you as a commodity to be sold, and it shows in the way they treat you. Our services are always free to our associates, and we encourage you to take full advantage of them.

We believe strongly that if we can continually deliver the results you need, then we will be able to earn your loyalty as a Client for Life. That means that the AppleOne experience has been specifically designed to serve as a total employment resource to you no matter where you are in your career.

FINDING GREAT EMPLOYEES
For over 50 years, we have been committed to supporting “Client for Life” relationships with a full range of staffing services that help companies achieve long-term goals. Providing the most talented Direct Hire and Contract professionals rests on four key values:

- Everything matters, so we hold ourselves accountable to always providing a result
- Excellence of delivery, which means being reliable, flexible, and treating the candidate as the center of the universe
- Taking the time to genuinely understand your needs, leading to proactive solutions

Decent but Demanding Work-Life for Recruiters
Pros: You do get decent PTO and it's nice that they let you work hybrid some days if your numbers are good. For a staffing agency, they're pretty understanding about personal appointments.
Cons: Work-life balance can be really tough here. As a Recruiter, you're expected to be available practically 24/7 to clients and candidates in the recruitment industry. It's not uncommon to work 50+ hours a week, especially when closing out a month from the Los Angeles, CA office.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for client communication outside of business hours. Support your Recruiters more on managing workload to prevent burnout.

Okay WFH options, but it's a fast pace
Pros: It's pretty decent if you need a flexible schedule once in a while. As a recruitment specialist, I've found some managers are really understanding about appointments. There are hybrid work options available for many, which helps with the commute in Los Angeles, CA.
Cons: Even with the flexibility, it's still super demanding in the staffing industry. You're expected to be responsive almost constantly. Full remote work is rare, so don't expect it. It really depends on your specific branch and manager if you actually get much wiggle room across different AppleOne locations.
Advice to Management: Focus more on consistent flexibility policies across all AppleOne locations. Empower managers to trust their teams more with remote work, especially for experienced recruitment consultants who consistently hit their metrics.

Okay Pay, But Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: The hourly pay as a Recruiting Coordinator in the staffing industry was decent. For the Los Angeles office, it wasn't bad. They do offer basic health insurance options, which is always good to have.
Cons: The overall benefits package feels pretty minimal. There isn't a strong 401k match, and yearly raises aren't very substantial. It feels like a corporate agency focused on clients more than employee perks.
Advice to Management: Look into improving the 401k matching and adding more valuable benefits to retain employees. Competitive compensation isn't just about base pay.
