Career growth can be slow at GWI
Pros: You'll learn a lot from challenging projects, especially in the consumer intelligence industry. There's good exposure to market research data and new tools. Good for an entry-level Data Analyst in the London office if you're keen to learn.
Cons: Upward mobility feels limited, especially for data science roles. There isn't a clear path for promotion or skill development. You might get stuck at your current level for a while.
Advice to Management: Create clearer progression frameworks for all roles, especially for the data and analytics teams. Invest more in internal training and mentorship programs to help people move up.

Decent for hybrid, but expect busy periods
Pros: I really liked the hybrid work setup; it gives you good flexibility to split time between home and the London office. For data analysis roles, that flexibility is key. They're also pretty good about paid time off, so you can actually use your vacation days.
Cons: There are definitely crunch times, especially when we're pulling consumer intelligence data for big client presentations. It's not always a 40-hour week; sometimes it spills into evenings or weekends. Management could do better at forecasting workload to prevent burnout.
Advice to Management: Try to better distribute the workload and set more realistic deadlines, especially for client deliverables. This would help prevent burnout for teams working with consumer intelligence data.
