Good flexibility, but expect to work hard
Pros: I'm a Marketing Specialist, and the hybrid work model is a huge plus. Working from home a few days a week really helps my work-life balance. It's great for digital marketing roles in a city like Singapore.
Cons: Still, the workload for this e-commerce brand can get pretty intense, especially during peak seasons in fashion retail. That means the "flexibility" sometimes just turns into working longer hours, even from home. Can't always log off when I'd like.
Advice to Management: Try to manage workloads better so the WFH policy truly helps with work-life balance for all the digital marketing teams. Clearer boundaries around after-hours communication would also be good.

Pay's okay, but benefits could improve here.
Pros: The employee discount is a nice perk, definitely helpful for us fashion lovers. You get a a decent base salary as a Marketing Associate, especially compared to some smaller fashion startups in Singapore. It's solid for starting out.
Cons: Bonuses aren't really competitive; they're pretty small. Plus, there's not much wiggle room for salary negotiation when you want to move up. The healthcare benefits also feel pretty basic.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into better bonus structures. Making salary bands more transparent would also help retain good people in this competitive e-commerce market.

Decent WLB, but depends on your team
Pros: I've learned a ton about the fashion e-commerce space and digital marketing strategies. There's a pretty supportive team culture within my immediate group in the Singapore office. They do offer some flexibility with working hours if you arrange it upfront.
Cons: Sometimes the demands for retail marketing campaigns mean really long hours, especially during major sales events. It's not always easy to switch off, and expectations for responsiveness can be high. True work flexibility for onsite employees isn't always consistent across departments, making consistent WFH tough.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize expectations for project timelines and 'off-hours' communication across all teams, especially for fashion retail roles. This would help a lot with burnout and improve overall work-life balance.
