Fast-paced startup, sometimes tough on personal time
Pros: The team is smart and supportive. You learn a lot working in digital asset security. There's some flexibility if you need to WFH occasionally from the NYC office. Benefits are pretty decent too.
Cons: Work-life balance can be rough. Long hours are common, and there's pressure to deliver quickly. On-call rotations for critical crypto security infrastructure can really eat into your weekends. It's a startup, so you're expected to go above and beyond.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries on working hours. Help teams manage workloads better to avoid burnout, especially for engineering roles involved in critical infrastructure. More focus on employee well-being would go a long way.
