Pros: I really appreciate the hybrid work model here. For most Software Engineer roles, you can work remotely a few days a week, which helps a lot with personal appointments. It's not rigid, so it feels like they trust you.
Cons: Sometimes the in-office days feel a bit arbitrary, especially for tasks that don't need in-person collaboration. There's also not much flexibility to shift your core hours if you need to, which can be tough on some days.
Advice to Management: Management should look into making the core hours more flexible for everyone. Also, rethink mandatory in-office days if teams are functioning well remotely, especially for the product development side of the tech startup.
