Pros: You do get some flexibility with a hybrid model, which helps. There are WFH options a few days a week for the Singapore office team. That's a huge plus in the health tech startup world, honestly.
Cons: The work-life balance here is often challenging. As a Software Engineer, I frequently worked past 7 PM, especially during sprint cycles. Deadlines on the telemedicine platform can be really tight, meaning longer hours.
Advice to Management: Management should look at staffing levels and project timelines to prevent burnout for engineering roles. Better workload distribution would greatly improve morale.
