Pay is Solid, Benefits Could Improve
Pros: As a Sales Engineer, the base salary at Festo Southeast Asia is pretty decent, especially for the industrial automation sector. My commissions often helped bump up my overall earnings significantly, which was a nice perk if you hit your targets.
Cons: But the benefits package isn't great, honestly. Things like healthcare coverage felt pretty standard, nothing special for an established company. The annual bonus structure in the Singapore office was also a bit confusing sometimes, and it didn't always feel like it rewarded extra effort enough.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into enhancing the benefits package. Better health coverage or more clear bonus incentives would go a long way in retaining talent, especially for technical sales roles.
