Job Security is Decent, But Watch Out
Pros: Job security here is pretty solid for onsite roles in semiconductor manufacturing. We usually have stable production lines and a steady flow of orders, so you don't worry about mass layoffs at this mid-sized manufacturing firm.
Cons: While you're generally secure, there isn't much room for growth or promotions for Process Engineer roles. It feels like a holding pattern sometimes, and that can make you consider other opportunities in the industry.
Advice to Management: Focus more on clear career paths for long-term employees, especially in technical roles like Process Engineering. It would help retain talent in our Singapore fabrication plant.
