Pros: As a Claims Adjuster, I've felt pretty secure in the Singapore office. Allianz is a large insurer, so there's not much worry about the lights going out here. They don't do mass layoffs often, which is a big plus.
Cons: Because of the emphasis on job security, sometimes processes in this corporate environment are slow. It can feel a bit bureaucratic for new initiatives in the general insurance business. Career progression can be a bit rigid for individual contributor roles too.
Advice to Management: Try to embrace quicker changes and offer more clear paths for growth, especially for individual contributors. Streamline some of the older processes.
