Okay flexibility, but room for more WFH.
Pros: It's nice that Leader Energy offers a hybrid work model for Project Coordinator roles. We usually get 2 days WFH, which helps with the commute in Kuala Lumpur. That's a decent perk for the energy sector.
Cons: The WFH days aren't always consistent, sometimes you need to be onsite for renewable energy projects. It's tough to plan around that when meetings pop up last minute. I wish there was more trust for fully remote work, especially for certain tasks.
Advice to Management: Try to make the hybrid schedule more consistent. Give teams more autonomy for remote work when possible, especially for roles that don't require daily onsite presence. This would really help with employee morale and work-life balance.

Demanding Role in Energy, Work-Life Balance Suffers
Pros: As a Project Engineer here, I've had some good learning experiences in the renewable energy sector. You get to work on big projects, which is cool. The team itself is generally supportive too, especially when deadlines hit hard.
Cons: But man, the work-life balance is really tough. There's constant pressure for project deadlines, so working long hours and even weekends is pretty common. Don't expect much work flexibility in this corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Management needs to seriously look at resource allocation and project timelines. We can't keep burning out employees with unrealistic expectations. It's impacting morale and overall efficiency.
