Leadership has a good heart, but struggles
Pros: The mission for children with special needs is definitely what drives you here. Management really cares about the impact on students in special needs education. There's a genuine commitment to our beneficiaries.
Cons: As a Special Education Teacher, I often felt leadership doesn't always get the day-to-day challenges. Communication about changes can be kinda slow, especially across different campuses in Singapore. There's not much support for staff development or clear career progression.
Advice to Management: Listen more to front-line Special Education Teachers about classroom challenges. Improve communication for new initiatives and invest more in staff training and career development within the special needs education sector.
