Pros: The mission is awesome, really. Working on affordable housing projects gave my work meaning. The team is also pretty solid and you pick up a lot on sustainable design. Great learning for a startup.
Cons: Leadership struggles with clear direction sometimes. Project timelines for us Architectural Designers often shifted last minute. This made work really hectic, impacting work-life balance big time.
Advice to Management: Work on clearer communication and project management processes. Listen more to the ground-level team on feasibility for affordable housing projects. It would help a lot with burnout.
