Pros: Working as an Associate Consultant, I did appreciate the option for hybrid work in the Dallas office a few days a week. It's good not to be stuck onsite every single day, which helps a bit with daily errands.
Cons: But real flexibility sometimes feels limited by client demands in this management consulting role. Last-minute changes for project-based work can really mess up personal plans, even with the hybrid setup.
Advice to Management: Try to empower teams more to manage their own schedules, especially for remote and hybrid employees. This would really help with consultant burnout.
