Pros: I've found the work-life balance here generally good, working remotely from Austin, TX. Most weeks are solid 40-hour weeks. The flexibility is a huge plus for a big tech company, especially as a Software Engineer.
Cons: There are definitely times with higher pressure, especially around major releases. Sometimes it feels like there's an expectation to be "always on" for critical issues. It can be tough to disconnect completely.
Advice to Management: Encourage teams to truly disconnect during off-hours. Be more transparent about project timelines to avoid last-minute crunch periods.
