To enhance and create a positive breastfeeding journey for parents, Hegen was established in Singapore in 2015 by its Founder and CEO, Yvon Bock, whose vision was to modernise a feeding system that advocates breastfeeding, protects the integrity of breastmilk, and simplifies the way mothers express, store and feed. As a global brand thoughtfully designed by a mother for mothers, Hegen champions sustainability through innovative, practical and high-quality breastfeeding products that can be easily converted and repurposed to meet the evolving needs of a child, hence extending the lifespan to beyond a bottle.
Hegen’s commitment goes beyond creating products. Flegen (formally known as HLC Hegen Lactation Centre) represents our brand’s core value as we strive to provide a holistic experience for our community through education, full lactation consultations and training services, so as to encourage breastfeeding and guide every mum on their unique nursing journey.
Hegen is currently available in 24 international markets: Bahrain, Cambodia, Canada, China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Macau SAR, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan ROC, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.
Hegen is in the business of building a family of creative and innovative individuals who share the same passion and ethos to reach out to as many parents all over the world. We’re looking for great like-minded people to join us and be part of one of the most innovative child-feeding brands in the market!

Pros: I've learned a lot about e-commerce strategies and content creation for baby care products. The team in the Singapore office is pretty supportive, and I got to work on some interesting global campaigns as a Digital Marketing Specialist.
Cons: Career growth here is pretty slow. There aren't many clear paths for promotion, especially for marketing roles. It feels like you hit a ceiling quickly in this smaller company setup.
Advice to Management: Establish clearer career progression paths and offer more training for skill development, especially for junior marketing roles. This would help retain talent.

Pros: The product line is solid in the baby care industry, and it's nice to work with. There's a decent team spirit among colleagues, especially within the marketing department in the Singapore office.
Cons: Upper management can be really inconsistent with their decisions. Strategic direction changes constantly, which makes it tough for marketing roles to plan effectively. Communication from the top down isn't always clear or timely, creating unnecessary stress for onsite work.
Advice to Management: Try to stick to a clear strategy for longer than a few months. Listen more to your ground teams, especially those working directly in the consumer goods industry. Better communication would go a long way.
