Solid remote flexibility, but expect long hours
Pros: I really liked being fully remote; it's a game-changer for my daily routine. The ability to manage my schedule around personal appointments was good, which is a nice perk for professional development programs.
Cons: Despite the flexibility, the hours can get pretty wild, especially near project deadlines. It's tough to truly disconnect as a Senior Program Manager, and I often found myself working evenings and weekends.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scopes and team bandwidth. The current pace often leads to burnout, even with the remote setup.

Decent Pay, But Job Security Feels Unstable
Pros: Working remote from Dallas, TX was great, offering good flexibility. I got to collaborate with smart people on interesting professional development projects, which is a plus for any Learning Consultant in the corporate learning industry.
Cons: Job security here is a real concern. There's a constant worry about project pipelines drying up, especially for contract or non-core staff. It doesn't feel very stable, honestly, and the company doesn't always communicate changes clearly.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent about future projects and staffing needs. It helps a lot with morale and reducing employee anxiety about their roles.
