Not much WFH, but decent people
It's an okay place to work if you don't mind being in the office all the time. The team is good, but the company seriously lacks modern work flexibility options. Pay is decent, but work-life balance suffers.
The team in the Singapore office is generally pretty supportive. We do get some holidays off, which is nice. It's a stable, mid-sized corporate environment for payroll processing.
Work flexibility isn't really a thing here. As a Payroll Specialist, I'm expected to be onsite five days a week. There's almost no remote work option, which can be tough when you need to handle personal stuff. The HR operations side of things needs more modern policies.
Management needs to seriously consider implementing a hybrid work model or offering some remote work days. It would really help with employee retention and overall morale, especially for those in core payroll processing roles.
