Decent team, but pay needs a boost
Pros: The base salary for a Talent Acquisition Specialist here was okay, especially for a startup. We also had a commission structure that could be good if you hit your targets. It's a supportive environment overall within the recruitment agency.
Cons: Pay and benefits here aren't super competitive. Raises felt slow, and the health benefits package was pretty basic. You don't get many perks, which is tough when you're working hard in the Singapore office.
Advice to Management: Look into offering more competitive compensation packages and better benefits. A clearer path for salary increases would also help with employee retention.

Okay Flexibility, But Can Improve
Pros: You do get some WFH days here, which is nice. For a mid-sized company in the HR tech industry, they have a decent setup for hybrid work. It helps a bit with avoiding the rush hour commute to the Singapore office.
Cons: It's tough to get more than 1-2 WFH days approved as a Recruitment Consultant. Core hours are pretty strict, so true flexibility isn't really there. Sometimes it feels like you're tied to your desk, even with the hybrid model.
Advice to Management: Revisit the work-from-home policy, especially for experienced Recruitment Consultant roles. More trust and less rigid core hours would really boost morale and productivity. Maybe offer a 2-3 day WFH option by default.

Okay Work-Life, Can Be Tough Sometimes
Pros: The team at Beecruit is generally chill, and I found some colleagues really supportive in my role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. It's an onsite job in the Singapore office, but lunch breaks are flexible, which is a small plus.
Cons: Work-life balance can be a real struggle, especially during peak hiring periods in the recruitment industry. You're often expected to put in extra hours to hit those tough targets, and there's not much work-from-home flexibility.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more flexible work arrangements, especially for seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialists. Manage peak season expectations better to reduce burnout.

Good team vibe, but can be a grind
Pros: The team culture is genuinely supportive; everyone helps each other out, especially in the busy Singapore office. As a Recruitment Consultant, I felt a strong sense of camaraderie. We had decent team social events that really fostered connections.
Cons: The pressure to hit targets in this fast-paced HR technology industry can be a lot. It often feels like you're always on the clock. There isn't much work flexibility; it's mostly an onsite role, which impacts personal life.
Advice to Management: Consider more flexible working options, especially for senior Recruitment Consultants, to improve overall well-being. Also, review the target setting to ensure it's challenging but sustainable.
