Not much WFH for corporate roles here
Pros: The Kuala Lumpur office has good facilities and it's easy to collaborate with your team onsite. For a corporate company, the daily routine is pretty consistent, which some people might like.
Cons: Work flexibility is really limited here, especially for roles like a Marketing Executive. There's almost no Work From Home (WFH) option; you're expected in the office five days a week. It can be tough if you have appointments or need a hybrid setup.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into implementing a hybrid work model. It would improve morale and attract more talent, especially for roles in the corporate sector.

Good Fashion Retail Experience, But Low Pay
Pros: The colleagues I worked with were great, making the daily grind much more bearable. It was a good environment to get exposure to the retail sector, and the company does offer structural training which is a plus. I appreciated the staff discounts and the various leave benefits provided, like maternity and marriage leave.
Cons: The biggest issue is definitely the salary; it's significantly below market rate for a Retail Sales Associate role, and there seems to be little to no increment. There's no overtime pay, which adds to the feeling of low compensation. The management can be quite lax, and there's a lot of internal politics and drama, making it quite stressful.
Advice to Management: Focus on competitive compensation and performance-based increments to retain talent. Clearer policies and decisive leadership would reduce internal politics and stress.

Decent starting point, but don't expect much long-term
Pros: The colleagues are pretty good, and you get decent exposure to a working environment, especially if you're just starting out. The office environment can be warm and youthful. They do offer some good benefits like medical insurance, outpatient benefits, and staff discounts on their products, which is a plus. Also, they observe all Selangor public holidays, which is nice.
Cons: The biggest issue is the pay. Salaries are significantly below market price, and there's often talk of pay cuts or excuses to delay salary increases. There's no overtime pay, which is tough when the work gets stressful. Management can be lax and there's a lot of internal politics and drama, making it not a great fit for younger people looking to grow. While they mention training and career development, in reality, there's not much room for growth, and the company's financial performance has been declining, leading to job security concerns.
Advice to Management: Focus on competitive compensation and clear career progression paths. Address management effectiveness and reduce internal politics. Invest in employees rather than just offering discounts.
