Pros: The hybrid work model is a huge plus, giving us some flexibility. You can usually manage your own schedule if you hit your metrics. The people are genuinely nice, which makes the long days more bearable in this competitive staffing industry.
Cons: Work-life balance can get tough, especially for recruiting roles when quotas are high. Expect longer hours during peak seasons, sometimes pushing 50-60 hours a week. It's not always a true 40-hour week, even in the Chicago office.
Advice to Management: Try to enforce better boundaries around working hours, especially for Recruiting Managers. Consistency across teams would really help improve overall well-being and prevent burnout.

Pros: As a Recruiting Consultant, the hybrid work model here is a big plus. I appreciate the flexibility to WFH a few days a week. It really helps balance my personal and professional life in the Chicago office.
Cons: Sometimes the pressure to hit metrics can make the "flexibility" feel a bit conditional. There are still long days, especially end of month, even with hybrid work. It's not always a true 40-hour week.
Advice to Management: Consider more consistent expectations around hours, even with hybrid schedules. Support work-life balance initiatives more actively for Recruiting Consultant roles.

Pros: You'll learn a ton about the talent acquisition industry as a Recruiter here. There's good training for new hires on sales and candidate sourcing. The commission structure for high performers can be solid.
Cons: Job security can feel a bit shaky if you miss your targets for a few quarters. The work-life balance isn't always great, with long hours sometimes. It's a very performance-driven culture.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more consistent support for those struggling with targets. A bit more emphasis on employee well-being beyond just performance metrics would help morale.
