Tough for nurses' work-life balance here.
Pros: I've learned so much as a Nurse at Rede D'Or. You get solid experience in the healthcare industry, dealing with all kinds of cases. The team support among us nurses is really good on those tough shifts.
Cons: But man, the work-life balance? It's a real struggle. Long shifts are just the norm for clinical roles in the São Paulo hospitals. Forget making solid plans outside of work; overtime is always a possibility.
Advice to Management: Consider staffing levels more carefully to reduce burnout for medical staff. Improve shift scheduling to make work-life balance more achievable.

Pay's okay, benefits are just fine
Pros: As a Staff Nurse in the São Paulo hospitals, the medical benefits package was pretty solid. It's what you'd expect from a big corporate healthcare provider. The stability of a large hospital chain is also a plus for job security.
Cons: Raises are super small year to year; it's hard to really get ahead financially. For the demanding patient care, I felt the pay was a bit low, especially after a few years. Overtime compensation isn't always great for all those onsite shifts.
Advice to Management: You should seriously look at the compensation structure for healthcare professionals. Better pay and more competitive raises would help keep experienced Staff Nurses from leaving.

Growth is tough for Medical Coders
Pros: I've learned a lot about hospital operations and medical coding standards here. The benefits package is decent for a large healthcare network. You get good exposure to different medical services in the Rio de Janeiro office.
Cons: Is career growth a priority here? Not really for my role as a Medical Coder. There aren't clear pathways to move up, even with my experience. It's tough to get internal promotions, especially in this big corporate structure in Rio de Janeiro.
Advice to Management: Management should create clearer career paths for specialized roles like Medical Coders. Invest more in internal training and promotion opportunities. It would help retain talent in the healthcare industry.
