Pros: The individual contributors and team leads here are generally quite skilled, especially in our core software development area. As a Software Engineer, I learned a lot from my direct peers and my project manager.
Cons: Upper management, however, often struggles with consistent communication. There's not enough clear strategic vision from the top, which really impacts new fintech solutions we try to develop in our Singapore office. Decisions feel rushed or changed often, which is tough for the engineering team.
Advice to Management: Really need to work on consistent messaging and long-term strategy for all our tech initiatives. Get more input from individual contributors before making big changes. Improve transparency.
